Whering deserves its following. It made closet apps social, it shows cost per wear so you can see what's earning its keep, and its packing lists and wardrobe stats are genuinely useful. If dressing with friends is the point, it's hard to beat.
Clad9 is for the mornings you'd rather not think about it. Whering's own about page says people dress "not by being told what to wear". Does Whering connect to Google Calendar?
Not that we could find. You add events inside Whering, with a location, an occasion and a mood, and its planner uses that location's weather. Clad9 connects to Google Calendar and dresses every upcoming event without you retyping it.
Does Whering track laundry?
Its help centre suggests marking an item "In the wash" by hand. Clad9 works it out: photograph what you wore, and washable pieces go to the laundry basket and stay out of your looks until you mark them clean.
Can I use Clad9 on a computer?
Yes. Clad9 is the full app in any browser, on a laptop, tablet or phone. Whering's website lets you view your wardrobe and wishlist, and the rest happens in its iPhone and Android apps.
